THE HORNS OF HATTIN by Aranthulas THE HORNS OF HATTIN by Aranthulas
Long time no post =). Figured I'd post one today. This is a remake of an old painting WIP I had a while back - i lost it a long time ago but i finially got a round to finishing a new version for it. It took about 48 or so hours all in all to complete.

Photoshop cs4

heres the old old version:

Wow, this is probably one of the best/ the best battle-scene picture I've found here so far. Very powerful and full of movement.
Only... where exactly is that flying Scimitar pretty much in the middle coming from? :)

thanks! i love drawing battle scenes, though theyre few and far in between. means a lot - havent found any hattin paintings so i thought id try my hand in it.

hahaha, i may just take out that scim outright since it doesnt read as well that the guy getting cut is letting it go

This is so powerful...I am amazed. Excellent capture of the dramatic destruction of the crusaders at Hattin...

We covered the chain of events that lead up to this moment in my Crusades course in college just last week... such an odd coincidence, eh? Anyway, brilliant work here!
